Rhea & Kenyan 2: She Don’t Wanna Be Saved

The men’s life are a mess.

TJ’s life is falling apart. He hasn’t spoken with his parents in months. Jabari and Kenyan have bonded over their mutual love for Rhea and unknowingly cut him out of the picture. The woman he is in love with is more inclined to show gratitude for receiving a new pair of headphones for her DJing set than the wedding ring he wants to buy her… and his professional life has taken a turn for the absolute worse giving his father the opening needed to tell him, ‘I told you so’. Although he was coddled his entire life, TJ is more than prepared and willing to do whatever it takes to get his life back on track… even if it means making allies with the most unlikely of people.

" Mia (M.L. Bash) is a 20 year old from southern Louisiana. Her passion for writing started in the third grade with short poems and developed in to 200 page short stories written on the front and back of loose leaf pieces of paper by the time she entered middle school. Writing has always been something she has wanted to pursue but never thought that she could excel at. She always shared her writing with her close friends and after much encouragement decided that she would share it with everyone else as well. She is continuously attempting to advance her craft and is her own worse critic. She sometimes write full novels just to reread and trash them later which is something she is currently working on and she is forever thankful for the friends and family that remain her support system.

Jabari is caught somewhere between Rhea’s drama and an unexpected visit from a family member that threatens to tear Amber apart if left unattended. He finds himself still the protector of the two women he loves the most and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make sure they reach their goals… even if he can’t reach his own.

From killing to paying bills, Kenya has always taken care of the people he loves. He prides himself on making a way out of no way for himself and his family, but when he loses everything he thought that he needed, he finds the most valuable thing in his world to be Rhea and her child and he will do anything to make sure he can keep them in his life. Battling jealous exes, gang banging rivals and crazy, unexpected guest he promises himself and Rhea that he will do whatever it takes to make sure their relationship survives… but, actions speak louder than words.

The women are polishing their craft.

Amber is steadily refining her DJ skills and attempting to get her name out. With late nights and early mornings nearly every day, Amber still finds time to eat three meals a day, visit Rhea and her baby and branch out to other artist. The issue? Standing beside TJ and smiling is nowhere on her schedule and the same independence that drew him in to her is the same independence that just may push him away for good.

Chanel has done it all from dancing to waitressing and is ready to lock down the job of her dreams and with Rhea and Amber on her side, she soon does just that. Her life is finally where she wants it to be. The only issue is making sure it stays that way.

Rhea has taken the fashion world and Kenyan’s heart by storm and he’s made her find a love so extraordinary her past doesn’t seem to matter. When Kenyan’s entire world is turned upside down, Rhea finds herself biting off more than she can chew between attempting to help his deflated ego, figure out motherhood, and design as often as possible. Faced with a choice between building her business and fighting for her newly acquired family Rhea must decide if being with Kenyan is something actually worth fighting for.

In this story, the women save themselves… and they just may take their men along with them.
